Summary

Our client is searching for a Senior Product Manager. This role will define and champion a product line strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company's overall mission and goals. This individual will consult with customers/clients to identify integrated lighting opportunities that align with our corporate strategy. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with engineering, marketing, and customer support departments to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals are met.


Responsibilities

  • Develop overall growth strategy of the Surgical Product Line. Propose and communicate new products or product enhancements from user feedback and/or requirements. Work closely with Sr. Management to ensure alignment to corporate strategy.
  • Create accurate revenue and profitability forecast for product line. Oversee achievement of those goals on a monthly, quarterly, annually and long-term basis.
  • Author new Product Development Agreements using PDRs (product development requirements) from prospects.
  • Effectively communicate PDRs of incoming and prospective projects to engineering, regulatory and quality teams.
  • Define target accounts and specific business development strategies that align with Lumitex’s overall growth plan. Significantly contribute to and manage Business Pipeline in CRM software from prospecting to closure of opportunity.
  • Maintain key accounts on a corporate level. Conduct Annual Business Reviews with Key Stakeholders of high-value Customers to ensure business longevity and identify new project or partnership opportunities.
  • Review and determine product pricing strategy for product line. Accurately record price and contribution margin history. Leverage relationships with supply chain and production to identify opportunities to maximize contribution margin.
  • Work with marketing partners to develop marketing campaigns, designate market research topics, and complete competitor evaluations to drive visibility towards the companys’s core technology and service capabilities.
  • Identify and facilitate new adjacent opportunities, partnerships or sales channels to provide a more holistic level of service to Customers and to leverage new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting mechanisms to track progress of business development initiatives. Create and analyze KPIs (key performance indicators) and adjust strategies accordingly.



Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • BA or BS in Business or Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical) or equivalent experience selling a technical medical product or technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial sales, product management or product marketing experience with a technical medical device product or service.
  • Medical Device experience – strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated consultative selling experience.
  • Strong business acumen, preferably including the ability to promote various lighting systems into new customer applications.
  • Ability to identify and nurture leads and develop relationships. Experience working in an environment with demanding lead times.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels of their organization regarding new application development.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to collaborate and manage complex projects involving resources inside and outside the organization.
  • Time management, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM system (Hub Spot preferred).
