Senior Architect
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to architectural design.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of architectural techniques.
- Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, MSTS or customer organizations, or projects.
- Expertise and guidance in architectural design, and the resolution of architectural technical, code, regulatory, and safety issues.
- Manage special tasks and provide leadership, training, and consultation to co-workers.
- Conduct construction document reviews as required.
- Assist in the preparation of task estimates; perform studies and prepare analysis as required.
- Interface with other design/construction disciplines, MSTS management and customers, as necessary.
- Familiarity with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications is required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Architecture with a combined 10 years’ professional architectural experience in relevant design/field experience required.
- Registered Architect with current state registration. National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) preferred.
