Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP (preferably with Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter frameworks).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Write clean, well-structured, and secure code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor junior developers and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Deep understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with REST API development and integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and security best practices (e.g., SQL injection prevention, CSRF protection).
• Familiarity with Linux-based servers and basic server management.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
