Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and report performance bottlenecks with clear, actionable recommendations
• Create detailed performance test plans, test cases, and reports.
• Create and maintain comprehensive performance test plans, scripts, and detailed reports.
• Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner to design and automate performance testing.
• Use APM tools like Dynatrace, NewRelic or similar tools to monitor system performance.
• Work with SQL databases to create and validate test data.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis for performance issues.
• Provide performance tuning guidance at the application, database, and infrastructure levels.
• Maintain and enhance test automation scripts and performance test suites.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
• Proven experience working on large-scale systems and complex applications in a performance testing role.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and resolving system performance issues.

Primary Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and hands-on technical skills, with the ability to deep-dive into performance issues.
• Proficient in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with APM and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, or similar).
• Solid understanding of web technologies, RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and network protocols.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native application performance testing.
• Expertise in testing large-scale systems and handling high volumes of data.
