Our client is Reputable Australian organisation who is seeking a Payroll Team Lead to lead, support and nurture the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational payroll team, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time.
The Role
Reporting through to the Head of Payroll, your tasks will include:
Managing a team of 3 Payroll Officers
Managing end-to-end payroll processing high volumes,
Processing and calculating superannuation as well as PAYG
Month/year end closing
Assisting with key payroll projects
Identifying process improvements
Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
Working collaboratively and as a team across departments
Candidate Profile
You will have prior experience in a similar Payroll Team Lead position, along with the following attributes:
High volume payroll experience within a medium / large scale business
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
High level analytical skills
Strong working knowledge of Excel
