Your Role And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain our core Oracle databases.
• Maintain our SQL/PLSQL scripts.
• Ensure DB availability. Take ownership of performance monitoring of the DB.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
• Determine and document DB policies, procedures and standards.
• Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
• Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.
• Ensure SLA's & operational PI's are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.
• Will also be the primary SME for our Oracle Goldengate system.
  
  

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Ideally Oracle Database Certified with 10+ years or more experience.
• Advanced expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting database performance issues.
• Other experience should include storage management, managing schemas, report generation.
• Operating system experience with Unix/Linux.
• Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump).
• Partitioning, good problem solver focused with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24X7 reliability on its database.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, knowledge of Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB)
