We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and metrics-driven Operations Manager to lead production operations at a CNC precision machine shop with aerospace and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. This position requires a leader with a strong background in manufacturing/machining. Lead and coach the departments of machining, assembly, shipping, and tool crib.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead production, planning, and CNC programming teams to achieve quality, delivery, and budgetary targets.
• Drive on-time delivery and quality performance to meet customer expectations.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles with a focus on 5S and Visual Management.
• Develop and maintain an MRP system to ensure accurate production data and inventory management.
• Identify and resolve risks and issues affecting production objectives.
• Own cost reduction initiatives, including capital investment opportunities.
• Maintain accountability for budget and schedule performance, escalating issues as needed.
• Implement lean principles, managing MRP systems, and driving cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 7+ years of progressive management experience in a machining/aerospace production environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, metal manufacturing, and production planning.
• Must have experience programming and setting up CNC machines.
• Experience with MRP (or ERP) systems for production management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Proactive, results-oriented leader with a team-first mentality.
• Bilingual, Spanish is preferred.
