About the Senior Networking Engineer: The primary responsibility of the Senior Networking Engineer position is the implementation of technical solutions to fulfill business requirements using sound, proven, industry best practices and in accordance with enterprise architectural standards and engineering methodology. This role takes the lead on developing and presenting engineering recommendations and options to IT leadership. This role is also focused on the analysis and resolution of complex issues related to on-premises (local and data center) and hybrid cloud centric infrastructure /SaaS engineering, storage management, backup methodology, virtualization, monitoring and management tools, business continuity and high availability solutions. This position controls network equipment, network hardware configurations, virtualization related needs, data center configuration and maintenance, SAN architecture, data backup strategies and execution, disaster recover planning, and telecommunications infrastructure. Ensures effective network design and administration for DNA’s local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) located in the main Rio office in Tempe, Iron Mountain Data Center in Phoenix, and support for a “shared workspace” strategy in Tucson. Implements and maintains all network, security, and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future. requirements. Helps maintain the overall network operations and compliance to established IT security standards. Engages in capacity planning and full network infrastructure documentation. Designs, implements and supports the corporate virtual network environment. Plans, configures, maintains and tests the DNA IT backup, disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Providers IT Operational Service Delivery in support of day-to-day organizational technology activities. Performs related duties, responsibilities, and projects as needed and/or assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent detailed Information Technology experience in progressively complex infrastructure environments 10+ years of experience working in operations and infrastructure Experience leading and managing impactful IT projects and rolling out new and complex IT infrastructure across a wide range of IT environments (corporate, data center, cloud) Extensive and detailed working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, data storage systems, and phone systems Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and IT security best practices Donor Network of Arizona is a drug-free workplace.
