Cloud Security Engineer - Network Master
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in network security, with strong expertise in Cisco technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of firewall management, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with F5 security solutions and WAF implementation.
- Experience with DDoS protection vendors, preferably Radware.
- Strong cloud security experience, with a focus on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization, Kubernetes, and data center security.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Python and ability to read Java, with an emphasis on automation and security scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Security certifications such as Cisco CCNP Security, AWS Security, CISSP, CISA, OSCP are a plus.
- Must stay up to date on the latest cloud security advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for a highly collaborative environment.
Responsabilities
- Lead network security initiatives with a primary focus on Cisco technologies (FirePower, ASA, ISE, Umbrella, Stealthwatch, etc.).
- Implement and manage security policies, firewall configurations, and network segmentation strategies.
- Oversee the deployment and security of F5 technologies and WAF at the edge.
- Develop and implement DDoS protection strategies.
- Manage and enhance security in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
- Secure hybrid cloud and data center environments, focusing on virtualization and Kubernetes security.
- Support security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop automation and scripting solutions for network security operations.
- Utilize cloud security platforms such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, CASB, and CIEM.
- Monitor and maintain security posture in collaboration with Engineering.
- Select and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to improve overall enterprise security.
- Provide guidance on security best practices and mentor junior engineers.
