Principal Network Security Engineer

We’re seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Security Engineer to lead the architecture, implementation, and evolution of secure and scalable network infrastructure. You'll work cross-functionally with IT, Security, and business teams to strengthen enterprise network security, support hybrid cloud environments, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, high-availability network infrastructure
• Lead security initiatives for cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem environments
• Manage firewalls (Palo Alto), F5 appliances (APM, GTM, LTM), VPNs, and core services (DNS, DHCP, NTP)
• Oversee PKI infrastructure, IAM (Okta, Azure AD), and network segmentation
• Drive automation using Python, Terraform, or Ansible
• Serve as escalation point for complex network/security issues
• Support compliance (HIPAA, SOC2, NIST) and incident response
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver secure solutions
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Required Experience

• 10+ years in enterprise networking and security
• Deep knowledge of Palo Alto and PKI/Digital Certificates
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud security (AWS/Azure)
• Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis (Wireshark)
• Proven scripting and automation experience

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Preferred: CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, AWS/Azure Security Certifications
