Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the transportation and logistics industry to hire an experienced full-time Senior Network Security Analyst.

As a Senior Network Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of enterprise systems. This role involves evaluating security data, detecting and addressing threats, and contributing to the creation and implementation of cybersecurity policies. You'll collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure security best practices are maintained across systems and processes.

What YOU will do:

• Investigate and analyze system logs and security event data to identify cybersecurity threats
• Evaluate systems and applications for vulnerabilities and provide risk mitigation strategies
• Implement and support security tools used by the IT Security Team
• Partner with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and system integrity
• Create and present detailed reports on security trends and threat metrics
• Support the development and revision of IT security policies and procedures
• Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends and provide recommendations to stakeholders
• Assist in ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory security requirements

What YOU will bring us:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Security Analyst or Network Engineer
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex security data
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and industry best practices

Preferred:

• Experience with API development
• Background in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
