Senior Network Engineer
London - (On-site or Hybrid depending on business needs)
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise and cloud network infrastructures. With deep technical expertise, you’ll be the go-to authority on cloud networking, routing and switching, security, and compliance, ensuring robust, high-performance environments that meet today’s most demanding operational and regulatory requirements.
The Role
Design and manage advanced networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Configure routing and switching infrastructure (Cisco or equivalent) including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, STP
Maintain and optimize F5 (LTM, GTM, iRules) load balancing for high availability
Administer Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM for streamlined network resource management
Configure security policies across Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point, and ForeScout platforms
Lead initiatives in zero-trust architecture, VPNs, and micro-segmentation
Conduct regular patching, firmware upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
Align network operations with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and CIS benchmarks
Monitor, diagnose, and optimize network performance for both on-prem and cloud
Resolve complex issues across LAN/WAN, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure with minimal downtime
Partner with vendors and internal teams to enhance reliability and security
Drive automation using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and PowerShell
Create and maintain detailed network documentation and policy guidelines
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and IT support teams
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 12+ years in enterprise and cloud network engineering
Deep expertise in Cisco routing & switching, Palo Alto, Check Point, and ForeScout Strong experience with cloud networking (AWS VPCs, Azure NSGs, VPNs, etc.)
Solid background in patch management, vulnerability scanning, and security compliance
Proficient with F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM) and network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS, CIS)
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to network reliability
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
