Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (Onsite only)

6+ months contract role

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in various networking protocols and technologies, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions.
• Configure and maintain BGP, OSPF, and Cisco routing protocols.
• Manage Cisco/Meraki switching and Wi-Fi solutions.
• Oversee Cisco Nexus Data Center switching.
• Document network configurations and changes.
• Ensure network security and performance through proficient use of PaloAlto Firewalls and Global Protect.
• Implement and manage SD WAN solutions, with a preference for Cisco Viptella.
• Manage cloud networking, with a preference for Azure.
• Monitor and maintain network observability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in network engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, Cisco routing, Cisco/Meraki switching, Cisco/Meraki Wi-Fi, Cisco Nexus Data Center switching, and network documentation.
• Proficiency with PaloAlto Firewalls, PaloAlto Global Protect, SD WAN (Cisco Viptella preferred), cloud networking (Azure preferred), and network observability/monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with network automation tools.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
