H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer. The Senior Network Engineer responsibilities will include: * Advise on enterprise network design and secure transport in hybrid, multi-vendor environments. * Provide technical and leadership-facing input on routing strategies, interconnects, and cloud gateway architectures. * Support implementation of Zero Trust Architecture, with emphasis on micro segmentation and isolation enforcement at the transport layer. * Participate in executive briefings while engaging engineers from operational and sustainment organizations on practical solutioning. * Contribute expertise across core network engineering domains, including SDN, IP/MPLS transport, hybrid cloud connectivity, and virtualized network infrastructure. * Support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) with architectural reviews, technical assessments, and modernization planning. Required Qualifications: * Active Secret clearance * Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ or equivalent) * Proven Subject Matter Expertise in modern network and transport engineering, with experience in one or more of the following: Software-Defined Networking (SDN), IP routing, MPLS, WAN design, network segmentation, or hybrid cloud connectivity * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to support ARTs in an advisory capacity * Applied understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), including change, configuration, and incident management processes * Strong communication skills with ability to brief executives and collaborate with engineers across mission areas (Operations, Sustainment, Architecture) * Able to travel approximately 10% annually.
