Summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage incident response and log analysis.
  • Participate in project implementation alongside Level 3 engineers.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex network issues.
  • Optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Handle intermediate Routing and Switching tasks, including:
  • Configuring and managing dynamic routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Implementing and troubleshooting VLANs and inter-VLAN routing.
  • Managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
  • Configuring and maintaining access control lists (ACLs).
  • Implementing Quality of Service (QoS) policies.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
  • Hands-on experience with Versa SD-WAN deployment and management.
  • Proficiency in Routing and Switching.
  • Proficiency in network security practices and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Versa Director, Versa Analytics, and SD-WAN components such as CPEs, Gateways, and WAN optimization.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Firewall, IPsec VPNs, SD-WAN policies, and QOS.
  • Analyze network traffic reports, logs, and alerts to ensure optimal operation of the SD-WAN infrastructure.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, and configuration changes as required.
  • Versa SD-WAN Certification is preferred.
