Senior Network Engineer | £60,000 - Hybrid Working

Here at Burns Sheehan, we are working exclusively with a leading healthcare technology provider that's transforming patient care through innovative connected solutions.

They are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their growing team and lead network infrastructure initiatives that directly support their healthcare service delivery platforms.

The Role:

This is a hands-on Senior Network Engineer and you will be the technical backbone supporting the company's digital transformation journey, particularly within healthcare/NHS environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong enterprise networking expertise and the ability to work independently on implementations while supporting regional teams across UK, EMEA, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Core Infrastructure Management - Design and implement Enterprise level network solutions
• Regional Support - Provide expert guidance to engineering teams across multiple international regions
• Network Migration - Drive projects from legacy systems to modern network architecture
• Security Implementation - Ensure robust and secure connectivity for critical healthcare applications
• Technical Leadership - Evaluate and recommend infrastructure improvements to support business goals

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience with enterprise networking products (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HPE, Aruba)
• Strong hands-on implementation skills with BGP and network migrations
• Technical certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent (Preferred)
• Self-sufficient approach with ability to independently implement solutions
• Experience with VoIP/unified communications would be advantageous
