Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and ITIL-certified Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of ITIL-aligned service management processes.
You will play a critical role in ensuring secure, stable, and high-performance connectivity across all locations and systems, while contributing to service improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and cloud network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network incidents and escalations.
- Implement and manage network security technologies including firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and access control policies.
- Participate in and lead ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, runbooks, and change records.
- Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, and application teams to support business and infrastructure needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and support staff.
- Evaluate and implement new networking technologies and best practices for scalability, automation, and cost-efficiency.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning related to network systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6–10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in network monitoring, management, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow).
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices, particularly in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience working in hybrid or cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4) – Required or Highly Preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
- CCNP, CompTIA Network+, JNCIP, PCNSE, or other vendor-specific certifications
