Role description

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of Data Network experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Switching and Routing, F5 LTM/ASM, network security, and network management systems.
  • Certifications:
  • CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or equivalent hands-on and network design experience.
  • F5-CSE certification.

Technical Expertise

  • Network Hardware & Software:
  • Extensive experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of network hardware and software.
  • Networking Infrastructure:
  • Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wireless/VoIP hardware/software technologies, network infrastructure, design, topology, protocols, and operating procedures.
  • Expertise in Cisco Nexus Switch Technology (VPC, NXOS, FEX), Cisco Catalyst Switch Technology (VSS, IOS Universal, Layer 2/3 technologies, Stackwise), and Cisco ISR/ASR Router Technology (IOS Universal, Layer 3 technologies, routing protocols).
  • Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, PBR, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, and OSPF.
  • Cisco NFG Firewall (VPN Client - IPSEC/SSL, LAN-to-LAN).
  • Cisco Wireless Technology (LWAPP & Autonomous), WCS, and Prime Wireless LAN Management.
  • Application Load Balancer (LTM, ASM, iRules).
  • DNS/DHCP and IPAM Technology.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Radius, TACACS, QoS, Packet Capturing and Analysis, Metro Ethernet, Dark Fiber services, and Copper & Fiber cabling.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools and strong network troubleshooting skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility to work during overlap hours up to 11:00 PM IST based on business requirements.
