The Network Specialist plays a key role in Overall leading some key tasks in managing network and Security operations and lead Network projects across a vast geographic span
S/he will monitor and manage some business critical operational task in alignment with existing managing LAN / WAN / Firewalls and Network Projects
KEY CHALLENGES OF THE ROLE
The primary challenges associated with the position are the following:
• Multiple operating companies and diverse locations with large geographic spread creating a complex implementation environment
• Multiple ISP's
• Country dynamics for WAN service
• Driving awareness and building sensitivity towards network security
• Ongoing monitoring and ensuring high availability across a wide network
• Complex Network setup in Adani group companies include the Multi-Cloud DC
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Delivery and Project :
● Will participate in Network related projects such as :
o SD WAN (Fortinet) rollout
o Wifi roll-out
o OT/IT separation with Network and Firewalls
o Other projects in Network and IT security
● Will participate in Business expansion projects
o Setting LAN/WAN in new sites or for Expansions from Designing , BOM finalization and implementations
o Participating in Mergers and Aquisitons
Network and Security operations:
● Oversee all the Operations KPI in alignment with the various outsourced partners
● Lead some critical and complex network/security incidents and changes
● Lead some key task in ongoing network operations, ensuring availability as per agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and coordinating with vendors for incident resolution

- 2000 Network/Security devices
- 700 sites with 400 WAN links
- Operations spread over INDIA,

PROFILE REQUIRED
- Level of education/qualifications required:
○ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Engineering Degree in any discipline
- Specific work experience:
○ 8+ years’ experience in network operations and security operations desired
○ Manufacturing/FMCG domain experience desired
- Technical and functional skills:
Should have strong domain knowledge and practical experience in:
○ Proven experience in SD WAN , preferably with Fortinet
○ Proven experience in managing large teams of Vendors for Network operations with L1/L2/L3 resources
○ Experience in Managing Firewalls
○ Proven experience in managing ISP's
○ Proven experience in managing NOC operations
○ Proven experience with LAN, WLAN and WAN design and implementation
○ Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management best practices
○ Excellent hardware/configurations troubleshooting experience
○ Excellent skill with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits
○ Network operations including monitoring, device and link management, maintenance services, implementation of LAN, WLAN and WAN
