Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable working on large-scale applications, and a demonstrated team player with strong communication and leadership skills. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing existing applications, including critical system changes related to Indian government regulatory updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain existing ASP.NET applications using MVC, Entity Framework, and Web API within the .NET Framework 4.5 and above (specifically MVC 5.2).
• Work with MS SQL Server 2016/2019, including understanding database schemas, writing queries, and optimizing performance.
• Work effectively as an individual contributor, taking ownership of tasks and delivering high-quality code.
• Understand business requirements and implement necessary changes in existing applications.
• Handle system changes related to Indian government regulatory updates, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of critical, time-bound changes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), bug fixing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Work within both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, adapting to project needs.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with .NET Framework 4.5 and above.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with MVC 5.2.
• Proficient in using Entity Framework for database interactions.
• Experience developing and consuming Web APIs.
• Solid understanding of MS SQL Server 2016/2019, including database design, T-SQL, and performance optimization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in handling complex technical challenges.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• .NET Certified Developer certification.
• MS-SQL Certified Administrator and Programmer certifications.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (BSc, BCA, B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's Degree (MSc, MCA, M.Tech) is a plus
