Job Description – Mold Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

•  Design plastic injection, compression, and transfer molds using Creo/SolidWorks/UG.
•  Prepare 2D & 3D models, DFM reports, and ensure proper tooling documentation (DCN/ECN).
•  Apply knowledge of hot & cold runner systems, 2-plate & 3-plate molds, and GD&T.
•  Support tool manufacturing and troubleshoot molding defects.
•  Maintain and improve mold capabilities through effective tooling design.

Additional Requirements:

•  Proficiency in Creo (any version), Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
•  Familiarity with measuring instruments and documentation practices.
•  Strong vocabulary and communication skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

•  Diploma/Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Tool Design (GTTC/NTTF/CIPET/CITD).
•  2–4 years of mold design experience; minimum 2 years in toolmaking or maintenance.

Salary Offered: 4.8 – 7 LPA (CTC)
