Senior Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Design for Commercial & Industrial Projects

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC design to join our team for a range of commercial and industrial projects across Germany. The successful candidate must be fluent in German and English and possess a solid understanding of local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities in accordance with German regulations
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and specifications for ventilation, heating, and cooling systems
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines
• Monitor project execution to ensure design intent and regulatory compliance are met
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers and design staff

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in HVAC system design, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of German building regulations (e.g. DIN, VDI, EnEV/GEG)
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
