PE Licensed- Senior Mechanical Engineer

Alaant Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our client, a growing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M/E/P) consulting engineering firm in Albany, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a wide range of building renovation and new construction projects across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of HVAC and plumbing systems for various facilities
• Prepare mechanical and plumbing specifications
• Perform CAD drafting and provide drafting direction
• Create and manage Revit models
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering staff
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies
• (Optional) Lead project management efforts

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in HVAC and plumbing systems design
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong communication and coordination skills
