Our Pocatello facility plays a key role in our operations, supporting core functions such as winding, stacking, assembly, and testing.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead key functional areas of our Pocatello plant. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in various departments—such as winding, stacking, and assembly—while ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to drive team performance in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple production areas (e.g., winding, stacking, assembly).
- Lead and develop a team of 50+ employees, including supervisors and hourly staff.
- Drive accountability for safety, quality, on-time delivery (95% OTD goal), and productivity.
- Conduct regular production meetings and take proactive steps to resolve bottlenecks or delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure workflow efficiency and issue resolution.
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and maintain product excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and driving operational performance.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with a focus on OTD, quality, and throughput.
