My client is a well-reputed, global manufacturer of metal components, primarily serving the automotive space. They have a strong reputation for Quality, working heavily with some of the top brands in the Auto industry. Due to impressive growth and an increased emphasis on LEAN manufacturing, the org is looking to add an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to oversee projects, and potentially serve as the next wave of company leadership!

Description

  • Utilize CAD skills to design custom tooling & work holding, as well as new products.
  • Manage Engineering projects, delegating responsibilities to Engineers and Production staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to product quality and production efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Drive innovative solutions to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Lead projects related to the introduction of new products and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the company's strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Profile

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record leading continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • A background in the automotive manufacturing space is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Job Offer

  • Base salary between $90,000 - $110,000 depending on level of experience.
  • Quarterly bonus incentives based on company profit.
  • 2 Weeks PTO plus floating holiday.
