Roles & Responsibilities:

1) Financial Planning:

- Create monthly budgets and revenue plans in accordance with the company priorities

- Analyse unit economics, profitability, revenue leakages and other financial metrics

2) Controllership:

- Create financial controls for various processes such as vendor payments, teacher payouts, reimbursements

- Lead a team that manages books of accounts

- Create processes for statement reconciliation from various revenue sources

- Work closely with external auditors to carry on the financial audit

3) Taxation:

- Ensure statutory compliances such as GST, TDS and PF

- Handle international taxation and compliances for international sales for future subsidiaries

4) Business Partnership:

- Partner with the business by identifying opportunities for automation, partnerships, leverage etc

- Identify levers for cost optimization and prevent revenue leakages

What we are looking for:

- Qualified CA and (or) MBA with business mindset

- 7-12 years of experience with a startup or an e-commerce company with deep exposure to FP&A, business finance, investor relations and controllership

- A business focus with a deep experience in technology integration to automate finance

- A collaborative attitude with a problem solving mindset and Excellent analytical ability

- A keen desire to build products for a fast-growing Series B funded startup

- An apparent Founder's mindset i.e. A mindset where the person can own up finance and shape it independently like a Founder

- Strong leadership and team management skills
