Job Responsibility
- The candidate will understand software requirements (requirement analysis) basis ERC inputs and verify the adequacy as necessary for type of ECU under development
- Candidate will work closely and parallel with ERC, Supplier, PAT teams and internal quality teams
- He/She will be required to cascade the “requirements” and adequacy to supplier and plan development stages through process.
- During software development stages, He/She will be required to understand the progress and cross verify as against technical requirement and time plan.
- The candidate will validate the test cases/ use cases considered by supplier and their adequacy in line with vehicle functionality and dependencies
- He/She will be required to cross check test plans /adequacy, result of tests and bug identification
- During software functional testing stages, he/she will closely monitor the activities and results.
- He will correct/modify the software testing method/ plans as necessary after due verification
- Candidate will require to understand the coding issues/ mistake and corrections needed immediately
- Candidate will have to control testing results and records and recommend suppliers necessary changes
- Working knowledge of C++, C#, Java, Python is must.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3-7 years
- Education: B.E
- Core functional area: Automotive Software's development and testing
- Application exposure for Automotive software's must (minimum 3 yrs. exposure)
- Preferable areas: Car Infotainment, Climate control, Engine Management, Telematics and ADAS, Safety and security systems
Skills & Competencies
System Design and Development – Candidate should have extensive experience in design and development for automotive systems such as IVI/Cluster, power train, functional safety
Software Development Model – Extensive knowledge about software development life cycle and different ALM tools used for quality check. Should have good knowledge in problem resolution and debugging tools. Knowledge in ASPICE PA for software development model – specifically V-process model for software development.
Requirement Analysis – Should understand technical requirement specification for Automotive
System testing and Validation – Perform system level testing, validation and ensure functionality, reliability and performance meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
Knowledge in automotive communication protocol and diagnostic tools
Understand Advance automotive systems and tools like MATLAb/Simulink, CAN, LIN, AUTOSAR
Knowledge of SDV, connected cars, shared mobility will be preferred.
Knowledge of In-vehicle Networking, Vehicle diagnostics, Troubleshooting will be preferred.
