Summary

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager who will oversee and drive the successful execution of IT projects, manage cross-functional teams, and collaborate with business development, talent acquisition, and HR teams to fulfill staffing requirements. The ideal candidate must have hands-on knowledge of mobile, web, and custom software development, experience with Jira, Scrum methodologies, and an understanding of diverse tech stacks.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project & Delivery Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle for mobile apps, web applications, and custom software development.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Utilize Jira and other project management tools to track project progress, sprints, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum and Agile methodologies for efficient development and delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring on-time and quality project execution.
2. Team & Resource Management:
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA professionals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, and ensure skill enhancement within the team.
  • Resolve team conflicts, facilitate collaboration, and ensure a productive work environment.
  • Allocate resources efficiently based on project requirements and availability.
3. Technology & Process Optimization:
  • Stay updated with the latest tech stacks, frameworks, and development trends in mobile (iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native), web (React.js, Next.js, Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Python), and software development.
  • Recommend and implement best coding practices, security measures, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
4. Staff Augmentation & Talent Coordination:
  • Work closely with Business Development, Talent Acquisition, and HR teams to understand staffing needs.
  • Assist in hiring contract-based, on-demand, and full-time IT professionals based on project requirements.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding, training, and integration of augmented staff into ongoing projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party IT service providers when required.
5. Business & Client Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical insights during client discussions.
  • Understand client requirements and suggest custom IT solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and insights to senior management and clients.
Key Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT services, software development, or related fields.
  • Strong functional expertise in mobile app development (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter), web technologies (React.js, Next.js, Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Python), and backend systems, with an understanding of development processes, project lifecycles, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Agile, Scrum methodologies, and sprint planning.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and QA engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of staff augmentation models, hiring processes, and vendor management.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring smooth deliveries.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze project requirements and suggest technical solutions accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an IT services company, software development firm, or consulting organization.
  • Good functional understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) including their role in application deployment, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and security best practices.
  • Certifications in Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
