The
Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics will play a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization through strategic planning, data-driven insights, and operational excellence. This individual will be responsible for developing and optimizing sales processes, project oversight, implementing performance metrics, and providing analytical support to ensure informed decision-making and business growth. This role will also serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration and alignment. Along with being the Ethos Pet Brands MAP Administrator, this position offers a challenging and diverse work environment, providing the opportunity to engage with key leaders across the organization and make a large, measurable impact.
The
Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics will work remotely, and report to the EVP, Chief Ecommerce Officer and National Accounts. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy administrator, responsible for the policy, enforcement and administration of the Ethos MAP policy.
- Ensure best-in-class operational excellence within the sales team, acting as the liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
- Oversee catalog management, including the addition of new items, discontinuation of products, and transitioning of items across both Brick & Mortar (B&M) and e-Commerce channels.
- Develop and execute GTM (go-to-market) execution plans, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Lead project management efforts for key initiatives, including planogram (POG) resets, product discontinuations, content optimization, and innovation transitions.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights that drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Product, and Customer Service) to ensure sales strategies align with overall business goals.
- Support sales and demand planning processes to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Enhance and maintain CRM systems and other sales tools to improve productivity and data accuracy.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Aid in new item set up and ecommerce content optimization

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; Project Management Certification
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
- 4+ years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI)
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales operations preferred
- Experience with major pet retailers and their operational systems a plus
- Knowledge of both ecommerce and brick & mortar retailing
- Knowledge of advanced data analysis techniques and tools
- Project management expertise
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices
Essential Functions
