To cope with our development, we are looking for individual who shares the same values as us to take up the position of Senior Manager – Quality Project Management to support one of our customers who is a European retailer with significant growth potential. They currently operate over 2,600 stores across 12 countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Austria and Czechia, etc. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, formulating, and implementing quality management strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the business growth strategy and cater to the expectations of the customer and cross-functional requirements including merchandising, operations, compliance, and sustainability. Additionally, you will lead and manage quality projects, which involves project planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, implementation, control, and completion.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

  • Support General Manager – Quality Management with a dotted line reporting to VP – Business Operations in the formulation, presentation and implementation of quality management strategies and key initiatives
  • Lead all assigned quality projects, collaborate closely with quality team, cross-functional team and customer. Collect data and relevant facts, analyze quality problems and concerns; conduct data analysis, drive problem-solving process and present proposals for solutions
  • Manage project scope, identify resources, and develop project timeline and detailed project tasks
  • Identify areas of opportunities and gaps in order to drive technical audit, inline/final inspection, lab testing process excellence across different categories and countries
  • Align and track project deliverables, report on progress, and prepare presentation for internal and customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other functional teams to plan quality workshop / trainings

You might be a good fit if you have/are…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management or Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in quality project management ideally in quality related function in consumer goods sourcing offices or brands,
  • At least 2 years project management experience, certification in PMP or Prince2 is an advantage
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team. High level of motivation and eagerness to learn
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented thinking and end-to-end mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good presentation and “story-telling” technique
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially in PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of Tableau is an advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
