Summary

The Senior Manager, Projects will be responsible for the end-to-end development management of new and existing industrial and logistics assets. Working closely with Asset Managers, this role ensures that all development activities meet the Company’s objectives in terms of design, compliance, cost, and timeline.

  • Evaluate and define design requirements; develop and integrate design briefs that align with the Company’s development goals.

  • Lead and manage the entire development lifecycle—from planning, approvals, and design coordination to project execution and completion—ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with design consultants and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure development plans meet internal standards and statutory requirements.

  • Oversee procurement and tender processes in compliance with the Company’s procurement policies, including preparation of documentation and presentations for internal approvals.

  • Manage construction and contract administration, including handling variations, risk mitigation, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with development plans.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication across all stakeholders, providing accurate updates and reports on project status and challenges.

  • Continuously improve design, planning, and project delivery processes, incorporating value engineering and performance optimization initiatives.

  • Provide leadership and support to the project team, fostering collaboration and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.



Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related architectural field.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in development or project management, specifically in the execution of commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and/or logistics projects.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end property development processes and practices.

  • Prior experience in managing logistics warehouse development projects is a strong advantage.

  • Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery across various development types.

  • Solid on-site construction and project execution experience, with strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, technical, and design skills.

  • Highly independent, proactive, and accountable, with strong adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and resilience.

  • Proven team leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and platforms such as Ariba, SAP, VIM, and Microsoft Project is an added advantage.
