JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager of IT Network & Infrastructure will oversee the strategic planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure and network systems. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT infrastructure to support the business's needs. The Senior Manager will lead a team of network engineers and IT professionals, work closely with cross-functional teams, and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure seamless IT operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of infrastructure, telecom & internet budgets and forecasting project costs
- Manage the North America Regional datacenter, which includes the network, telecom & voice systems
- Manages hybrid to full stack Meraki sites
- Management of IT's controls, policies, procedures, practices, and processes to protect the organization's IT assets and the integrity, security, and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the organization and to ensure compliance (i.e., local, state, and federal laws and regulations) and consistency
- Drive the establishment of performance goals and provide on-going feedback, coaching, and development to enhance the team's performance and capability, to facilitate open communication, and to encourage continuous performance improvement
- Manage the delivery of technology and support services within an approved budget and via a team based, customer-centric approach
- Partner with the IT management team on strategic technology initiatives and projects to forecast costs, equipment, and resources
- Establish and monitor the infrastructure metrics to track productivity, quality, service levels, and resource utilization, to collect the voice-of-the customer data, and to enable projects to be on schedule and within budget
- Drive automation in operational tasks to improve efficiency and traceability of activities
- Research, monitor, and analyze industry IT infrastructure trends, new technologies and best practices to assess the organization's performance in comparison to the luxury retail industry
- Align projects with the organization's business needs, initiatives, and strategic direction
- Increase end-user satisfaction
- Identify and eliminates security risks
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to the business operations in the event of an emergency situation or data loss
- Maintain oversight of warehouse management to provide high efficiency and productivity for all operations
- Multi-task high-level priorities and manage additional responsibilities as assigned
- Implement IT strategies and infrastructure with a standardization mindset
- Create and maintain project timelines and project milestones and identify appropriately skilled resources for business projects through collaboration within the local and Central IT departments
- Implement monitoring and reporting systems for proactive maintenance and issue resolution
- Prepare RFPs and evaluate bid proposals and specifications for infrastructure projects; project plans, scope of work, status and summary reports and correspondence. Present proposals for consideration by decision makers in PRADA USA CORP. and Central IT
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and/or Network management
- Prior experience leading and managing a team (with a minimum of 3-5 reports)
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or ITIL are highly desirable
- Strong expertise in network architecture, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Prior experience in luxury retail preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and functionality (X Store is preferred)
- Knowledge of SAP required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
This position will be paid an annualized salary of $155,000.00 - $165,000.00 and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
