Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Communications to lead internal and external communications for the Chief Technology & Sustainability Officer (CTSO), who oversees technology, innovation, sustainability, and the new Energy business unit. This critical role will develop and execute strategic communication initiatives to drive employee engagement, support executive visibility, and elevate sustainability profile.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling, experience supporting C-suite executives, and a strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Communications

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Draft and distribute organizational announcements, newsletters, and leadership messages.
• Lead quarterly virtual Town Halls, overseeing logistics and content development.
• Manage and enhance the company intranet to deliver timely and engaging content.
• Coordinate internal recognition programs and highlight key achievements and milestones.
  
  
  

External Communications

• Create and implement campaigns to increase brand visibility and sustainability thought leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment with corporate messaging and brand standards.
  
  
  

Executive Communications

• Develop high-impact presentations for internal and external executive engagements.
• Provide communication support to the CTO & CSO, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Coordinate executive calendars and travel with a focus on maximizing productivity and alignment with strategic priorities.
  
  
  

Sustainability and Speaking Engagements

• Plan and manage external speaking engagements for senior leaders focused on sustainability.
• Craft messaging and materials to effectively communicate environmental initiatives.
• Work with event partners, media, and external stakeholders to ensure successful participation and visibility.
  
  
  

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of communication efforts.
• Foster strong relationships across internal teams to support various strategic communication needs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree required; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience in corporate or internal communications.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills.
• Proven experience working with executive leadership and managing high-profile communications.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with sustainability communications and public engagements.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn, SharePoint, Poppulo, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
