Position: Senior Manager, Information Technology (Cloud Infrastructure - AWS/Azure)

Summary of Position:
The Senior Manager, Information Technology (Cloud Infrastructure) is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the company's AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. The role includes oversight of Microsoft 365 services, virtual networks, storage, and compute resources, as well as the development and testing of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud technologies, and the ability to collaborate with global and regional IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
AWS and Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and manage the company's AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage
- Configure and optimize cloud networking components like AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks, and associated security groups
- Architect cloud solutions that ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Design and implement cloud-based backup and recovery solutions across AWS and Azure platforms
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams
- Implement security best practices for Microsoft 365 including conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication, and data loss prevention
- Configure and manage Microsoft 365 compliance settings and information governance
- Optimize Microsoft 365 licensing and resource allocation
Identity and Access Management
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and AWS IAM, including user lifecycle management
- Implement single sign-on (SSO) solutions across cloud platforms
- Configure and maintain hybrid identity solutions connecting on-premises Active Directory with cloud services
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Defender for Identity and other cloud security tools
Cloud Security
- Implement security controls in AWS and Azure
- Deploy and manage email security solutions, including Microsoft Exchange Online Protection and Advanced Threat Protection
- Conduct regular security assessments of cloud infrastructure and remediate identified vulnerabilities
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations through the proper implementation of cloud security controls
Cloud Strategy and Migration
- Lead migration initiatives from on-premises to AWS/Azure and between cloud platforms
- Develop cloud adoption frameworks and migration strategies aligned with business objectives
- Identify workloads suitable for cloud migration and determine optimal cloud platforms
- Execute lift-and-shift, re-platform, or re-architect migrations as appropriate
Cost Optimisation and Monitoring
- Implement cloud cost management strategies across AWS and Azure platforms
- Monitor cloud resource utilisation and performance using native and third-party tools
- Optimise cloud spending through rightsizing, reserved instances, and spot pricing strategies
- Provide regular reporting on cloud expenditure and utilisation metrics
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with AWS, Microsoft, and other cloud service providers
- Negotiate service agreements and ensure SLA compliance
- Evaluate new AWS and Azure services for potential business benefits
- Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, and contract for cloud infrastructure projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management with focus on AWS and Azure
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security features
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) and/or Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
- Strong understanding of identity management in cloud environments, particularly Azure AD and AWS IAM
- Experience with cloud security best practices and tools
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates
- Experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI for automation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification is a plus
Salary Range: SGD 70K - 90K base PA
