What can you expect?


The Sourcing Specialist’s primary duties are to assist the Sourcing Managers/Directors in various commodity categories, negotiating and managing the relationship between MMC and the vendor. This individual will leverage the capabilities of the various supply markets - achieving sustainable ongoing cost reductions. This work will require the Sourcing Specialist to work with MMC’s Operating Companies to execute projects related to the sourcing and procurement of various spend categories that include office supplies, travel, human resources, facilities, IT and other miscellaneous categories.

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will play a crucial role in achieving cost savings and driving sustainability initiatives across the organization. This position will focus on implementing strategic sourcing options that not only secure value from the supply market but also align with our sustainability goals.


Strategic Sourcing and Cost Savings (50%)

  • Assist in formulating strategic sourcing options by modelling and analysing each option to recommend the one that will secure differential value from the supply market for each product and service category.
  • Conduct research for RFPs, investigate historical data (spend analytics), and review existing contracts to understand spending patterns and identify savings/optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to execute RFPs by understanding their requirements and utilizing sourcing tools to compile and analyse results.
  • Coordinate and oversee sourcing events in collaboration with the JLL RES Sourcing team and the GSP Pune team to ensure alignment and efficiency in the sourcing process.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, with guidance from the reporting manager or peers, to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and compliance.


Sustainability Initiatives (10%)

  • Develop and implement sustainability programs, including initiatives that promote eco-friendly purchasing and supplier diversity. (e.g. EVs, Corporate gifting, etc.)
  • Collaborate with partners to increase spending through diverse suppliers, including MSMEs, women-owned businesses, and other underrepresented groups, to enhance our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.


Contract Negotiation and Management (20%)

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to negotiate appropriate agreements with suppliers and support the legal team in finalizing and executing contracts.
  • Ensure contracts are negotiated in accordance with MMC's contract structure and Terms and Conditions, collaborating with the legal and compliance teams.
  • Properly file contracts into the contract repository per established guidelines. (i.e. Sirion)


Supplier Performance Management (10%)

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to measure and manage the ongoing performance of selected key suppliers and their respective supply markets.
  • Maintain consultative relationships with MMCo’s business functions, including finance, marketing, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on sustainability and cost-saving initiatives.


Issue Resolution and Support (10%)

  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and suppliers to identify, document, analyse, and resolve issues.
  • Address general internal customer inquiries and develop materials to support executive and stakeholder communications.
  • Support global/regional initiatives as required to meet organizational goals and assist in following up on vendor risk-related tasks with stakeholders and the vendor risk team as needed.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 9-11 years of experience in Global Sourcing & Procurement
  • Knowledge of business unit and/or organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of the competition, industry trends
  • and technology innovation
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Access and Power Point
