Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Manager, SEC Reporting to join its corporate finance team. This individual will be responsible for leading the preparation and filing of SEC documents, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, and supporting key financial reporting initiatives. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, superior analytical skills, and excellent collaboration across cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other periodic and current reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely filing of all required SEC documents.
  • Collaborate closely with external auditors, legal counsel, investor relations, and internal teams to gather and validate financial and non-financial data for public disclosures.
  • Monitor changes in SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP and assess their impact on the company’s reporting obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the external reporting process, including automation and internal controls.
  • Lead technical accounting research and documentation on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements.
  • Support quarterly earnings release processes and related materials.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and/or public company experience.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end SEC reporting process.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Workiva, Oracle, or similar ERP/reporting tools a plus.


Hybrid in-office schedule required.


Pay range and compensation package - Our client offers: $155,000 to $185,000 base salary range dependent on experience level. Annual bonus based on company and individual performance and stock. Excellent benefits: Medical, dental, vision 401K match, PTO, and paid holidays.
