Summary

The role is accountable for managing the full lifecycle of utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects throughout the Pre-Tender and EPC phases. It requires a hands-on professional with strong expertise in end-to-end contract management—including strategy development, tender documentation, contract negotiation, and implementation oversight. The successful candidate will be expected to handle multiple projects concurrently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of tender strategies for utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects;
  • Oversee the preparation, submission, and delivery of tender documentation in alignment with bid strategies and competitive process guidelines;
  • Identify key risks within the bid strategy and propose effective mitigation measures;
  • Provide support for permitting and jurisdictional approval processes relevant to project construction timelines;
  • Demonstrate strong contract management and negotiation skills, including familiarity with contract specifications, EPC contractor selection, and project-related insurance requirements;
  • Review and manage EPC Contractor, schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans and permit compliance;
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of contractual obligations in line with project budgets and schedules;
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safe construction practices through site inspections and coordination with third-party quality assurance firms as necessary;
  • Facilitate and lead project status meetings with utilities, EPC partners, off-takers, and financing entities, supported by detailed project plans and status dashboards;
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for internal use and external stakeholders, including those needed for project financing; and
  • Support other duties and initiatives as assigned.


Pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with EPC firms or within the energy sector.
  • Practical experience in quantity surveying, particularly in relation to cost estimation, contract administration, and project budgeting.
  • Familiarity with utility-scale wind and/or solar projects is a strong advantage.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, FIDIC contract templates, and project implementation insurance requirements.
