JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Senior Manager, Consulting Location: Shanghai Type: Full time Experience: Middle - Senior Reporting line: Head of consulting service Role & Responsibilities: //Lead Client Projects: -Direct and oversee strategic client projects within the Research & Insights team and the Transformation team (Digital Transformation, AI-Transformation, ESG Transformation).. -Manage and execute strategic projects for clients, including exploration of weak signals, addressing vision challenges, defining and prioritizing strategic initiatives, creating roadmaps, designing new products/services, and developing new KPIs. -Coordinate internal (employees) and external resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects, enhancing client satisfaction and creating upsell/cross-sell opportunities. -Maintain and nurture relationships with key clients, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
//Driving New Business Growth: -Facilitate new business growth by fostering collaboration with internal teams, existing networks, and third-party partners. -Extend current offerings to broader industries and develop new business offers. -Build team capabilities through upskilling existing members, recruiting new members, and establishing partnerships. //Positioning the Company as a Thought Leader: -Maintain expert knowledge of market trends and client business industries. -Position the company as a thought leader in innovation by identifying market weak signals, proposing new topics and frameworks, lead white papers and thought leadership pieces, and presenting these to clients and ecosystems. -Represent the company and its expertise at client meetings, partner discussions, media engagements, and industry events. //Leadership and Team Management: -Inspire and lead a team of consulting staff to deliver high-quality projects and impactful solutions. -Strengthen the team's knowledge in key sectors (retail, auto, pharma, finance, etc.) and the overall innovation/digital landscape in APAC. -Develop and oversee talent and organizational development plans to support growth ambitions and maintain employee engagement. -Foster team growth, mentorship, and career development for all employees. Ideal Profile: -Experience: Minimum of 4 years in professional services (consulting, market research, training and development, etc.). -Language Skills: Native Chinese speaker with fluency in English (both written and spoken); fluency in French is a strong plus. -Project Management: Strong working knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management. -Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills. -Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience in lead teams and aligning different stakeholders. -Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and innovation in China, including market dynamics, environments, key players, emerging trends, and best practices. -Innovative Mindset: Curiosity for innovation and exploring new concepts, ideas, and models across various industries. -Proactivity: Ability to take on new tasks proactively and handle ambiguous situations effectively. -Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
