About the Role -This Senior Business Analyst will the sole custodian of the entire Revenue & contract management process for the non- Aero business, Sales & Reporting analytics, billing & data management and will be the source of department-wide data led intelligence


Drive various initiatives within the commercial department and to drive data maturity and adoption in the commercial business, identify and deliver analytics use cases and drive data led decisions leading to sales growth.


  • Develop robust mechanisms to track and ensure the Contract management of the non-Aero team & ensure compliance to the commercial arrangement that the partner ecosystem has with BIAL.
  • Leverage data analytics to drive insights for developing commercial revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Identify, implement, and review analytics use cases, develop actionable recommendations, and monitor value realization for business.
  • Collaborate with departments and CXOs / HOD's for driving report development and analytics use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems.
  • Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into actionable reports and dashboards to identify trends and patterns and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs
  • Proficient in operational activities and business strategy.
  • Understands the industry and business positioning among competitors.
  • Identifies the main stakeholders. Gaining proficiency in stakeholder management activities.
  • Has experience in working with the business; understands a single operating unit's structure, functions, and processes.
  • Create and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI/Tableau/ equivalent.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data visualization and business analytics and find opportunities to implement them on the job.

Qualifications - M.B.A., or Degree in Data Science and Statistics


Required Skills - skills (Indicate the required knowledge on software, applications, hard ware etc., that are required)


  • Must haves (with demonstrated experience of using these in past job experience)
  • Power BI or Tableau


Preferred Skills


  • 10 years of work experience of which at least 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, with a focus on Data Mining, Data Visualization, Reporting, and Dashboarding Experience in retail analytics would be preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to act as a focal point for a specialized area; able to lead teams while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Must haves (with demonstrated experience of using these in past job experience) Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Proven track records of having delivered sales & revenue uplifts through data insights in varied business and led data analytics projects / teams in retail, F&B, e-commerce, or large enterprises.
  • Ability to define and structure a problem statement, hypothesis, and methodology for the analytics projects.
  • Superior analytical skills including strong ability to identify and solve highly ambiguous problems.
  • Experience of working and building positive relationships with CXOs / management teams.
  • Ability to connect with people across teams and levels.
