Ensure finance/accounting compliance, safeguard financial statements and audit risk management, partner with business functions and GBS
Key Responsibilities
Financial
Oversee and responsible for overall China legal entities financial control in both IFRS and PRC GAAP, focusing on the biggest entity of aSports
Ensure timeliness, integrity and quality of financial reporting including full compliance with local/group regulations leading to a clean Finance audit, through strict and structured control on BSR, closing process monitoring and TB controlling, focusing on the biggest entity of aSports
Responsible for China internal/external audit (IFRS) and statutory audit (PRC GAAP).
Be the advisor to business partners in business operation and decision from accounting perspective
Responsible for assessing and minimizing the financial impact arising by tax regulatory/ accounting standard/Financial related process changes.
Enhance and implement accounting and financial policies/processes/ regulatory policies
Responsible for reporting to China government offices.
Management
Being the focal from the market finance to lead GBS management/engagement, drive accounting excellence jointly through market finance and GBS.
Coordinate and drive internal or x-functional project/problem solving to facilitate business operation and support decision making
Bridge and manage among market stakeholders, GBS teams, group accounting, tax, IC&C and maintain a good relation.
Manage audits or submissions to Government bodies (e.g. statutory audit, annual filing…etc)
External: External auditors/ government offices such as Bureau of Finance/Statistical Bureau
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Bachelor’s degree or above
10+ years in finance area with solid accounting knowledge and experience, ideally in audit/ consulting firm or Retail/ Apparel industry.
Good communication and influencing skills (ability to convey complex ideas to audiences)
High sense of responsibility and integrity
Fluent written and spoken English.
