Dealerware’s team is currently hiring a Senior Manager, Accounting.

As the Senior Manager, Accounting you will lead Dealerware's accounting operations, overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with US GAAP. This leadership role involves strategic oversight of the accounting function, ensuring efficient processes, accurate reporting, and scalable systems to support company growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a deep understanding of SaaS accounting standards, and a passion for process improvement and team development.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Establish and communicate accounting policies, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight & Reporting

  • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, revenue recognition, cost allocations, and other key accounting areas.
  • Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization & Systems

  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and accuracy as the company grows.
  • Lead ERP system enhancements and integrations, automating workflows to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and implement accounting technology advancements to elevate efficiency and reporting quality.

Key Responsibilities: Compliance, Audit & Internal Controls

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and tax regulations.
  • Manage annual external audit, ensuring timely readiness and successful completion.
  • Oversee tax accounting, regulatory reporting, and other statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in SaaS or technology environments.
  • Expertise in US GAAP and SaaS financial reporting.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and process automation; experience with ERP implementation is a significant plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
