We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Senior Litigation Paralegal & eDiscovery Specialist to join our legal team. This role combines advanced litigation support responsibilities with a strong focus on managing all aspects of the electronic discovery (eDiscovery) process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex commercial litigation matters and a deep understanding of eDiscovery tools, workflows, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support for various types of complex litigation matters, including commercial litigations, IP litigations, and employment litigations.
- Maintain case calendars, track court deadlines, organize and maintain case files, and coordinate with internal teams and external counsel.
- Conduct factual research and analysis as needed to support case development and filings, including witness interviews and document review and analysis.
- Assist attorneys with all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals.
- Liaise with external counsel, experts, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
- Support internal investigations and responses to regulatory inquiries or audits.
- Manage and maintain legal databases, case management systems, and document repositories.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage e-discovery efforts, including document collection, review, and production.
- Lead all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
- Collaborate with IT, legal teams, and vendors to implement and manage legal holds and ensure defensible data collection.
- Manage and maintain eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Everlaw), ensuring data integrity and workflow efficiency.
- Organize document reviews and productions, monitor review teams, and handle quality control.
- Stay current with evolving best practices, technology, and regulations related to eDiscovery and data privacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
- Minimum of 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on eDiscovery.
- Deep understanding of the EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model) and litigation lifecycle.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis) and case management systems.
- Proficiency with legal hold tools.
- Strong command of eDiscovery platforms and tools; certification (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator, ACEDS) a plus.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, IT, and legal teams on litigation and discovery issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing detailed reports and summaries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal and state litigation matters, class actions, and government investigations.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and regulatory compliance.
- Experience responding to DSARs and CCPA requests.
- Background in a corporate legal department or mid-to-large law firm.
- Project management skills or certifications (e.g., PMP) are a bonus.
Working Conditions
- Full-time role with occasional extended hours depending on litigation needs.
- Hybrid or fully remote work arrangements may be available.
- May require occasional travel for trials, depositions, or data collections.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range
$126,500.00-$158,100.00
