The opportunity

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Learning and Development Consultant to join our People team. In this role, you'll design, deliver and evaluate impactful learning with a focus on leadership development. You'll use your expertise to create meaningful learning journeys across multiple formats - from face-to-face workshops to innovative digital experiences.

Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll:

  • Facilitate engaging workshops across virtual and face-to-face environments with a focus on leadership development
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of learning initiatives that drive tangible outcomes for stakeholders
  • Design innovative learning solutions using adult learning principles and human-centered design
  • Create digital learning resources that enhance the learning journey
  • Provide expert development planning advice to individuals, leaders and teams
  • Lead special projects such as our Women in Leadership scholarships and Leader Induction
  • Measure program effectiveness and deliver insights that improve learning outcomes
  • Your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering great retirement outcomes for our members by building the capabilities our people need to succeed.


About you

You're an experienced learning professional who brings:

  • 10+ years' experience in dedicated leadership development role
  • Exceptional instructional design and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • A proven track record of designing learning programs with measurable business impact
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a true business partnering approach
  • Experience with digital learning design tools like Articulate Rise 360
  • Knowledge of best-practice instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Adaptability, excellent time management skills and stakeholder management
  • Sound decision-making capabilities and a commitment to excellence
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, education or human resources
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about helping others develop and succeed.
