Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and consultations to the engineering team. Engage in technical sessions with the team with a view to growing the overall exposure of the team to the technology and domain landscape.
• Perform research activities and proof-of-concepts for new feature ideas and new technologies
• Perform feasibility analysis and feature comparisons for potential tools and technologies for incorporation into the product/system/process.
• Hands-on development of important features and foundational parts of the product
• Work with the engineering manager/director for producing high-level effort estimates for new features and user stories.
• Collaborate with product management to clarify and concretize product requirements
• Work with the co- architects to refine and align the architectural roadmap with the product and engineering roadmap
• Work with the developers to translate product requirements into designs and work item.
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or other engineering branches plus relevantsoftware engineering experience is required. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience that demonstrates a progression of increasing responsibilities.
• Hands-on development experience is required.
• Prior architectural experience is a huge plus.
• Should have worked in the information security and/or vulnerability management domain.
• Must have extensive experience and knowledge of developing cloud native enterprise applications over
• WS services, including containers and serverless.
• Should have worked with a multitude of languages and tech stacks.
• Database design, data modelling.
• Skilled in RDBMS and Advanced SQL. Preferably PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Java based technologies is a plus
• Frontend/UI experience is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD, container technologies such as Docker and contain orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of standards like CVE, CWE, CVSS, Mitre Attack etc. is a plus
