Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain SAP HR ABAP programs and interfaces to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement integrations between SAP EC Payroll and other SAP modules using BAPI, RFC, and other integration technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions for SAP HR ABAP development and integration projects.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP HR ABAP programs and interfaces, including resolving issues related to data inconsistencies and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and test plans.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices, particularly in the areas of HR ABAP development and SAP CPI integration.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP HR ABAP development.( Mandatory)
  • Extensive experience in integrating SAP EC Payroll with other SAP modules using BAPI, RFC, and other integration technologies.
  • Good to know SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) with designing and implementing integrations.
  • Strong understanding of HR ABAP programming concepts, including BADI, SOA Manager, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • SAP certification in HR ABAP development or related areas is a plus.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI development, with a focus on integration support.
  • Proficiency in HR ABAP, OOPS concepts including designing, developing, and troubleshooting integration flows.
  • Solid understanding of SuccessFactors basics, including data structures and integration points.
  • Ability to debug and resolve integration issues within SAP HR ABAP, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams.
  • Experience working with OData APIs and SOA Manager.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve critical issues.
  • Excellent documentation skills for maintaining technical documents and integration-related artifacts.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with HR and Payroll processes within SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Previous experience in liaising with business stakeholders to address data-related issues.
  • Exposure to various integration patterns and best practices.
  • SAP CPI and SuccessFactors certifications are advantageous.
