About the Role As Senior Java Engineer

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Building scalable microservices using Java 8+ (preferably Java 11+) and Spring Boot
• Designing and implementing high-performance event-driven systems with Apache Kafka & Flink
• Developing robust APIs & backend solutions for financial and payment systems
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle DB, Sybase IQ, MongoDB)
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
• Deploying microservices in Kubernetes & AWS cloud environments
• Ensuring security compliance with OAuth, JWT, and PCI DSS regulations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence

Responsibilities What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in Java development within enterprise-level environments
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ (preferably Java 11), Spring Boot, Microservices, and API Development
• Experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid experience in messaging solutions (Apache Kafka, NATS)
• Understanding of database integration & optimization (SQL & NoSQL databases)
• Strong problem-solving & debugging skills in high-scale applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech
• Background in rule engines (Drools) or search tools (Elasticsearch, Algolia, Solr)
• Familiarity with big data & stream processing technologies (Apache Spark, Flink)
• Strong DevOps & Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform & Kubernetes Helm Charts
