Job Summary

The project aims to modernize the invoice and payment system of the client by migrating the client’s legacy systems to a different system that uses modern technologies and platforms. Aside from migrating, the project is also adding new features to the system as well. Due to the size of the project, it will provide the candidate the opportunity to learn new skills through collaboration with team members from different agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in different scrum ceremonies
• Collaborate with other teams outside the agile team as the need arises
• Provide technical support for both onshore and offshore team members
• Monitor progress of offshore team members and provide mentoring if the need arises
• Provide quality deliverables through coding (pair programming), unit/functional testing, test case development and code deployment
• Fix issues reported by QA

Essential Skills

• Extensive knowledge on Java 17 and beyond and Springboot
• Strong knowledge on SQL servers (Ms SQL)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong technical analysis skills
• Good knowledge and skills on devops tool such as azure devops, git and github

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge on react and node development
• Basic knowledge on Jasper report development
