Senior Java Developer

About the Role

VLink is looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in the FinTech domain. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing cutting-edge, client-facing applications using modern Java technologies and scalable microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and reliable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Build APIs following API-first principles using REST and gRPC.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define project priorities and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, participating in code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Contribute to improving performance, monitoring, and resilience of systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Java 17+ (Java 12 or 13 also acceptable).
• Strong background in designing and building microservices architectures.
• Experience working with RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers is a bonus.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and continuous integration/deployment practices.
