With 150 engineers on our team, we work on scalable microservices, cloud integration, and robust backend systems. Your expertise in Java and cloud technologies will drive business transformation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and Kotlin (Spring Boot).
- Architect, implement, and integrate both legacy and modern technology stacks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable cloud-based applications using (preferably) Azure services (Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, etc.).
- Utilize event-driven architectures and technologies like Kafka to build resilient and scalable systems.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a preference for experience in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
- Ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines and Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) processes to maintain high standards of software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, with a strong track record of building and delivering successful projects using Java and Kotlin.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Kotlin frameworks and libraries, particularly Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures, particularly with Kafka.
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as ARM templates (preferred) or Terraform.
- Deep familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and SDL processes, ensuring software quality and efficient deployments.
- Proven ability to lead teams, provide mentorship, and contribute to a collaborative development culture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud-native applications.
