Position: Senior Java Engineer

Salary: Up to 210,000 CZK monthly

Location: Hybrid in Prague office ( circa 2 days onsite per week)

Our fintech client, based in the vibrant city of Prague, is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to spearhead the evolution of their digital landscape. This is an exceptional opportunity to be at the heart of the Equities Electronic Trading business, designing and developing critical components such as Smart Order Routing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and enhance the core components of the Electronic Trading platform.
• Lead and collaborate within a global, multinational agile team of skilled engineers.
• Implement and innovate cutting-edge technology solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Core Java experience in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency with Linux or other UNIX-based systems.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess and troubleshoot complex code.

Bonus Skills (Highly Valued):

• Experience in building trading applications.
• Knowledge of equities markets, execution algorithms, and smart order routing.
• Familiarity with market data or exchange connectivity protocols.
